Set up portal access

Once your subscription has been provisioned, you will receive two emails from KACE Cloud that will allow you to get started:

  • Email 1: Welcome from KACE Cloud
  • Email 2: Update Your Account

IMPORTANT If you are a device admin, please wait for the second email titled Update Your Account to sign in and establish your system admin credentials.

To log in to the portal:

  1. Follow the link in your Welcome from KACE Cloud email.
  2. The link will take you to the KACE Cloud portal page.

NOTE The format of the portal URL is https://[customer].kacecloud.com where [customer] is the subdomain you selected during the onboarding process.

To establish your system admin user account:

  1. After your welcome email, you will receive an email called Update Your Account.
  2. In the email, click the Get Started link to reset your password. (See password requirements below.)
  3. This will establish your system admin user account credentials.
  4. Sign in to the KACE Cloud portal using your new credentials.

Password criteria for local system admin user accounts:

  • At least 8 characters in length
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • Include one number
  • Include one symbol

To configure account credentials for other users:

Once your account is configured, you can configure accounts for other users. Instructions and details on specific user roles can be found in Manage user roles.
